How to Updating your Credit Card/Billing information

Reason
There is a practice on the Internet called Phishing, which involves fake e-mails soliciting to update or verify Credit Card information. Rest assured that the e-mail you receive from us will contain instructions guiding you on how to update your information, and should direct you to www.pogo.com. Be wary of any e-mails that ask you to follow a link to update your information without verification, and do not lead you to www.pogo.com. Always make sure the URL on your browser reads www.pogo.com.

Solution

  1. Go to Pogo.com and log in with your Club Pogo screen name and password.
  2. Click on the My Account link on the upper right-hand corner of the page.
  3. For verification purposes, you will be asked to enter your password once again.
  4. Click on the My Subscription and Billing Information link on the right side of the page under the small Club Pogo logo. You should now see the My Subscription and Billing Information page.
  5. Towards the bottom, you will see your My Other Billing and Payment Information section. In the blue box entitles, "Billing Options", select "Add or Update Payment Method"
  6. Locate the card in question and select the "Edit" option next to the card. You can now update your card information such as your billing address or expiration date.

NOTE: On the back of your card (or occasionally on the front), there is a 3 or 4 digit code called a CVV or CVS number. This is a security code used to help protect you and your card from credit fraud. For your security you cannot update this number, so if it has changed, you will need to remove the card from your Club Pogo account, and then re-add it as a new card.

how to submit a Java log

For Sun Java users:
  1. If you are using the latest version of Sun Java to play our games, you should see a Sun Java icon (looks like a coffee cup) in your system tray (lower right-hand corner, where you can also find the computer clock).
  2. Right-click on the Sun Java icon mentioned above and choose Open Console.
  3. Once in the console, click on the Copy button.
  4. Now, go to the response field of your incident, right-click and select Paste (or press CTRL + V on your keyboard).
If you do not see the Java icon described above, you either do not have the latest version of Java, or you disabled the icon from appearing. To re-enable the icon to appear, follow the instructions below:
  1. Go to your Control Panel (Start > Control Panel or Start > Run > Control).
  2. Double-click on the Java icon (if you do not see the Java icon, try switching to Classic View).
  3. Inside the Java Control Panel, click on the Advanced tab.
  4. Under the Advanced tab, find the Miscellaneous section.
  5. Click on the plus sign (+) to toggle the section's options.
  6. Click on the check box next to the Place Java icon in system tray option and click OK.
  7. You may now follow the instructions for submitting a Java log detailed above.

For Microsoft Java VM users:
  1. Go to the Tools menu in Internet Explorer and choose Internet Options.
  2. Click the Advanced tab and make sure you have the following settings:
    • Browsing
      • Disable script debugging - OFF
    • Java VM
      • Java console enabled (requires restart) - ON
      • Java JIT compiler enabled - OFF
      • Java logging enabled - ON
  3. Click the Security tab and make sure the Security level for this zone option is set to Medium.
  4. Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
Your Java logging should now be enabled. The next time the error occurs, you can send us the Java log by following these simple steps:
  1. Go to the View menu and choose Java Console.
  2. Copy the text in that window and paste it into the Contact Us form on our Games Support site.
If you're having trouble copying and pasting, check in the C:\WINDOWS\JAVA folder for a file called 'javalog.txt.' You can also send us the contents found on that file. To find this file, go to:
  1. Start, then click on My Computer.
  2. Double-click on the Local Disc (C:) drive.
    • If you get a message saying 'these files are hidden,' simply click on the 'show the contents of this folder' option.
  3. Double-click on the WINDOWS folder.
  4. Double-click on the JAVA folder.
