I have Internet Explorer 9, but Pogo says I need IE7. What do I do?


Our team is awarethat some players using Internet Explorer 9 are prompted by the Internet Explorer 7 "upgrade error message" below, which prevents them from regular access to the Pogo website.

 
To ensure your browser is able to recognize the latest Internet Explorer and displays the website correctly, please follow these simple steps:

1. In the menu bar of Internet Explorer, click on “Tools”

2. You will see that “Compatibility View” is check. Simply uncheck it.
The error message should disappear and you should be able to access Pogo.com as usual.

How does the unlock process work? How long can I access the unlocked games?

How to cancel Club Pogo subscription

Reason
  • When you cancel your Club Pogo subscription, you can either choose to forfeit all remaining time on your subscription or you can choose to play out your remaining time left on your subscription.
  • If you decide to re-activate your account, you will be billed immediately. There is no free trial on re-activations.

Solution

To cancel your Club Pogo subscription, perform the steps listed below:
  • Go to www.pogo.com
  • Log into your Club Pogo account.
  • Click the My Account button.  
  • You may be asked to re-enter your password (for security reasons)
  • Your screen should look something like this:
  • Click the 'My Subscription and Billing Information' link shown above. 
  • Then your screen should look something like:
  • Click the 'Cancel Subscription' link. 
  • You may be asked to re-enter your password (for security reasons)
  • Re-enter your password.
  • A new screen should appear asking to select a Club Pogo subscription cancellation option:

  • You have two options when cancelling; 1) cancel your subscription and forfeit the rest of your time or 2) you can play out the rest of your time. Please note, your card will not be charged again.
  • Click the 'Continue' button to confirm and cancel your subscription.
For regular (free) Pogo customers, there is no subscription fee, therefore cancellation is not required.


If you would like to disable your EA account (whether it's a paid or free account), which removes access to Pogo & EA sites altogether, you may request to disable your account by clicking the Contact Us button located at the top right of the article or click here. How to Remove and Re-Add your Credit Card to your Club Pogo account



Reason

There is a practice on the Internet called Phishing, which involves fake e-mails soliciting to update or verify Credit Card information. Rest assured that the e-mail you receive from us will contain instructions guiding you on how to update your information, and should direct you to www.pogo.com. Be wary of any e-mails that ask you to follow a link to update your information without verification, and do not lead you to www.pogo.com. Always make sure the URL on your browser reads 

Solution

  1. Follow the above steps through step 5.
  2. Locate the card in question, and click the "X" button to remove the card from your account.
  3. You will receive a prompt to confirm or decline to delete the card account. Select "Yes- Delete Saved Account"
  4. Now select "Add a new credit card"
  5. Enter your card information and your billing address. The new CVV/CVS number will go in to the field entitled CSC (Card Security Code) under Card Information. Also ensure that the billing address matched what your credit card company has on a file.
  6. Select "Continue" in order to add your card.

Re-Adding your Credit Card/Billing information to your Club Pogo information:
You have just re-added your card to your Club Pogo account, but now you will want to re-attach it to your subscription so that your subscription does not end when the renewal date arrives.
  1. Go to Pogo.com and log in with your Club Pogo screen name and password.
  2. Click on the My Account link on the upper right-hand corner of the page.
  3. For verification purposes, you will be asked to enter your password once again.
  4. Click on the My Subscription and Billing Information link on the right side of the page under the small Club Pogo logo.You should now see the My Subscription and Billing Information page.
  5. In the My Subscription Information section, select the link that says Subscribe to Club Pogo. You will need to select your plan again (Monthly, 3-Month, Yearly), and continue through the "purchase" process.

Do not Play and show java error in Poppit game



Java is a programming language created by Sun Microsystems. It's unique among other programming languages because it was built to run on any operating system (Windows, Linux, Mac, etc). Almost all of Pogo's games are created with Java, and are constructed in a way so they may run right inside your web browser, using the Java Virtual Machine already installed with your browser.

  • Click the following things in order: Start > Control Panel > Java.
    Note: If you do not see the Java icon, click on Switch to Classic View in the menu on the left-hand side, and this should allow you to see the Java icon.
  • Under the General tab, click the Settings button located in the Temporary Internet Files section.
  • Then click on Delete Files...
  • A dialog box will appear. Make sure all the options are selected, and click OK.
This should probably be done whenever you encounter a problem with the way a game is functioning. Restarting your computer after doing so can also help the performance of the game.
You should also make sure you're running the latest version of Java. If you are not sure if you have the latest version of Sun Java or not, please visit and follow the instructions.
